Spring begins to fill the air. Flowers peek out from the last remains of last winters snow.Sounds of birds ringout while fluttering to and fro, building their nests in the newly budding trees. The earth abounds it's self in renewal. God has given us renewal in His SonJesus Christ With the resurrection of Christ, our renewal becomes possible.

We are reborn into the kingdom of God.Jesus has opened the gates of heaven through his death and resurrection to all who believe and accept Jesus as their savior, and repent of their sinsJohns Gospel states
"To all who believe Him and accept Him,
He gave the right to become Children of God."

As we enjoy Easter egg hunts and getting dressed in our "Sunday Best" let us remember that God has given us His only begotten son .Jesus gave his life for us upon the cross, so that we may have life eternal, can we not give of ourselves?

One way is to devote some time for God.Take a break from the hectic daily living we have and spend time in prayer and church. Not just twice a year.
We should spend time in prayer daily and regular church attendance. Easter is more than eggs and cute bunnies. It is the celebration of our Lord Jesus who gave His life for us upon the cross, who
conquered death, The Risen Christ.
